At Great Bridge Eye Care the health of our patients, our community, and our staff is the highest priority. We want you to know that we are still here for you and we have made some changes in our routine to make sure your visits to Great Bridge Eye Care stay safe.
We have increased the time between patients and Dr. Vernillo and Dr. Holcomb will work alternating days. This will keep the number of people in the office to a minimum.
Our temporary hours are Monday through Thursday 10-5 and Closed on Friday.
When you call the office for an appointment, we will ask a few questions to determine when the best time for a visit will be. We will schedule emergencies, urgencies, and medical visits soonest. For example, an eye injury would be seen immediately; a rapid decrease in vision would be seen in a day or two; a patient with Diabetes, Glaucoma, or Macular degeneration would be seen with in a week or so. Patients who have lost or broken their glasses will be seen on short notice, as well. If your eyes are feeling OK and your vision seems unchanged the best plan is to schedule your visit for several weeks from now.
For the time being, our parking lot will be our new waiting room! When you arrive for your visit, please check in by cell phone. If you are picking up contact lenses or glasses, we will have them ready for you before you come in. If your visit is with the doctor, we will bring you directly into a freshly sanitized exam room. This way you can remained “socially distanced!”
